On the corner of St Peter’s Street and Markby Close, you will find Duxford’s Millennium Garden, a quiet spot with a couple of benches where you can relax and watch the birds, butterflies and bees and, if you are lucky, the millennium robin might come and share the crumbs from your sandwich.
A while ago, you might have passed by but not lingered, put off by the nettles and weeds, even Japanese knotweed (now thankfully eradicated), but recent efforts are transforming the garden into the pretty spot it once was. Take the time to come along and have a sit!
